APPLY FOR THE : Vera Claussen Memorial “Wanapum Tribe” Scholarship
Mrs. Claussen was a former Grant County PUD Commissioner with a commitment to the Wanapum Tribe. Upon her death her family created this scholarship to benefit members of the Wanapum Tribe or their descendants.
CRITERIA:
(1) Applicant must be a Wanapum Indian as recognized by the Wanapum Tribal Council or a descendant of a Wanapum;
(2) Applicant can be any age as long as they have graduated from high school or have earned their GED certificate;
(3) Applicant must have at least a cumulative gpa of 2.0 from the high school at which they graduated or the last college they attended or are attending;
(4) Applicant must be enrolled full time in an accredited technical school, college or university.
